@23lacreuse They are definitely not more ecological, the swathing gluttonous path of resource consumption and things cleared/removed to make way for these technologies is ecologically devastating. Wind power being the absolute top candidate for a complete and utter failure and the incredible effects they have had in all places they are located. A wire, with one end elevated end and the other sourced to a good ground gives everything needed for what is truly completely free with no fear of ever depleting it and no "mechanisms" are needed for refinement or processing. But no one, and I mean no one in the modern commercial "everything has a coin slot on it" world is ever going to promote freedom in such a currently excessively lucrative industry right now. They make trillions off of fuels and power distribution.
