  8.  @brandonburns5365  by their bad actions convicted felons cost someone else money. Medical bills, property damage, lost wages, etc. A judge determines the amount of money the felon owes in restitution. The repayment of debt is part of a felons punishment.

  9.  @workingguy-OU812  the premise of this story is in Florida, a populous swing state that has many felons apparently. The felons are a tool essentially for a presidential campaign outcome. Imo, The irony is both parties are pretty hard on criminals.
