  2. I've lived most of my adult life in remote places, in the woods, in the mountains, small towns, intentional communities. Im presently stuck in a big city and I hate it. But for many of us its difficult to get out. This modern society depends on people being dependent on it. Slavery never went away.....it just changed form and what we have now is an economic slavery. Its hard to unplug without the means to do so.

  8. This describes me to a T. But I've been confused as to whether I'm an old soul or younger soul. I seem to have come into this life very naive about how the world works and how to be human. But maybe at this point we are all old souls and this present world just doesn't make sense.

  13. I've seen this coming for a long time. Had managed to place myself into a remote self sustaining community living off the grid. Everything I needed to weather the coming storms. The plandemic hit & then a double whammy of wildfires that destroyed most of our community & infrastructure. To add insult to injury some of the decision makers in this community turned out to be back stabbing snakes and forced the community to dissolve. I'm now vulnerable to whatever happens as I've lost most of my support system, support people, and financial stability. So this is a cautionary lesson here.....no matter how much one prepares you can still lose it all in an instant. Have a backup plan in case plan A falls apart. Be extremely cautious and selective who you keep close and in your inner circle. There are bad people and you never know how someone will react to fear & stress & greed. Those you thought true, honest, supportive & reliable will turn around & set you adrift. I have lost most everything I spent years working towards & now rely on a few family members to keep me going. Hope is something I really don't have at this point. Good luck out there.

I've had a decent life all in all & seen good times, no kids, no wife, no one will miss me. I'm into living not just surviving so when that gets taken away I'd rather not be here.
