@kellyberry4173 Not laughable at all. I would wager many or most pharmaceuticals are likely unnecessary. We are conditioned in this culture to believe a pill is the answer for everything. Well it's not. A healthy lifestyle is the best protection from dis-ease. Real food, pure water, exercise, meaningful work & relationships, community, rest & play, a spiritual practice. These are things that bring happiness & purpose to human life. Not this empty shell of a culture we call modern life which values consumption and feeding the corporate machine above all else. This emptiness & lack of meaning we feel can't be fixed with a pill. (Sorry for rant, but it's all connected)

@well-8814 We are not broken. The system is broken.

I resonate with your experience. I've struggled with depression most of my life. I once tried anti depressants briefly and it only made things much worse. I now understand the root of what I struggle with is a deep negative conditioning through childhood and lack of healthy adult guidance/mentors. Psychedelic plant medicines have been a great benefit but I realize depression is something I'll likely be dealing with throughout my life. I'm also an empath and overly sensitive and cannot not see all the darkness in this world. Thanks to covid it's also becoming crystal clear how broken and anti health most of the healthcare system really is. It's become mostly a drug pushing scam to enrich those in the industry. Other than surgery to fix traumatic injury we would all be healthier without all the pharmaceutical poisons.

Having struggled with depression most of my life I now see it this way. Perhaps in rare cases there may be a chemical/hormonal imbalance in the body but predominantly I believe its more environmental/situational to one's life experience. Just look at our modern lifestyles.....toxic society/culture, toxic foods, toxic water, environmental pollution, lack of spiritual meaning and purpose.....this is where dis-ease originates.

He was right.

That was....amazing. Your experience is an example of how society & human institutions fail us. Which we now see clearly through the response and over reaction to covid.

@jess3591 "The system is broken, not us". Beautifully said. This is the truth but we've all been conditioned to believe otherwise because we live toxic lives in a toxic environment. Nature has always held the key to health but we've also been conditioned to think we're seperate from nature. Time to go back to the garden and leave this technocratic dystopian madness behind.

That's the problem with western medicine. It doesn't look at the health of the entire organism. You can't seperate mind, body, spirit, and expect to see the whole picture. This is what western medicine needs to learn.

@ALulzyApprentice Not too mention all the micro plastics throughout the food chain. We are all a certain percentage of human + plastic now. Can't be a good thing for a biological creature.

@dannoz123 These are true healing plants and get to the root. One must be brave enough to look at those dark corners of ourselves we often don't want to. For first timers I would advise using these with someone who has experience and is trusted or in the container of psychedelic therapy.
