  2. Agree. In this world of lies & illusion telling the truth is a revolutionary act and takes enormous courage. The church has often failed in this along with many other human institutions. We deserve to hear the truth and we rarely get it.

  3. I think what Jordan is speaking to here is a connection to spirit and a willingness to be involved in something greater than ourselves. Church fulfills this for some, but we can have a direct connection & relationship with creation and the creator without the need for a go between. The church has failed miserably & gone off track from its original calling & purpose. I was raised in the church and at 58 I'm still coming to terms & healing from the soul sucking, damaging conditioning, and life depraving message I was subjected to as a defenseless child. I find Spirit and the Devine in nature (Gods creation) and authentic heart centered connection with others. This world is dark and one can see the relentless attack on spirit & nature & authentic connection as forces attempt to destroy the truth & beauty that surrounds us and that is our birthright. It would be nice if the church was a force of life supporting ecstatic bliss but too often it is a force of greed, control, and corruption. That has been my experience anyway.
