  1. @D A good description of the problem. Ive always felt the system is wayyy beyond fixing or rehabilitation. The only solution is to not take part in it, basically opt out & undercut it. The only power the people have left is where & how we spend our dollar. Starve the beast. Easier said than done of course.

  2.  @stevehamblin1035  The idea of a heaven "up there" or a hell "down there" are fabrications by religious dogma to control human behaviour. The only heaven & hell are what humans create here on earth. We have the power to create both.

  5. This was what one of the great seers of our times, George Carlin, came to. Just enjoy the show. He also thought the lasting legacy of humans on the planet would be.....plastic!

  14. I lived in an intentional community for many years that functioned well and where we all felt truly empowered (for the most part) to control our own choices. Unfortunately it slowly slid into a more corporate mindset & top down hierarchy.....which I now feel was always there to some degree. But a big problem was not being discerning enough with who was accepted into the community. I also think human nature is a problem. We need to be in control & eventually it extends into controlling others. Same as it ever was.
