I very much hope that they are not going to make the same mistake as they did with Ukraine. Belarus will sided with Russia, just like Crimea did . Unless the eu are thinking of another expansion.

Even if all 26 eu member states tries to blocked UK's nominee ( Liam Fox ) Hungary endorsed Liam Fox . There are still more than 100 countries , that we do not know how their representatives/Committees will votes.
