  1. @Roguejin Da Are you taking about HAMBANTOTA ? That's a joint venture with Sri Lanka port authority ( HIPG ) with China merchant port . Sri Lanka sold/privatised 85% of it stake in HIPG to China merchant port . Basically, Sri Lanka failed to come up with US $ 1.12 billion that China invested into the port . There's no such thing as free lunch.

  3.  @neutrallogic9260  In the ideal world yes, we should talk to our neighbouring countries. Well, our politicians/government should anyway. However, some are more preoccupied with their own ideology / agendas, they tend to forget that we as citizens/our country as a whole needs each other to do business with etc .

  4.  @TheDarkAKA  If you don't want to pay the money you/your country borrowed, just don't borrow. Simple as that. That way you don't have to pay them back . Even a 3 year old child can tell you that .
