I would never join a sorority or frat, and will never allow my kids to do so. It seems like kids who aren't able to find social circles on their own and have a need to pay for a way to have friends and camaraderie. I am also amazed at anyone who has the time. Anyone who actually works or has a life, would find it next to impossible. I know he probably just wanted to fit it and belong, which makes it all the more tragic. Heartbreaking and unnecessary (I'm someone who does really stupid stuff but knows that almost anything in excess eg water, oxygen,salt, alcohol... is lethal.
