Does calling the police on a white girl put her in danger like that of an "African American man threatening..."? She says her past led to her feeling of fear, but how is anyone to know that? However, most people know that police interaction w black men don't always end well. If her past makes her overreact, maybe she should work on that or avoid certain situations like remote desolate areas where she will have to approach a man she fears bc she wants to let her dog run off leash in prohibited areas. What if the police showed up and he was hurt or worse?

But she is a perpetual victim, so nothing is her fault. She isn't responsible for her feefees or actions

I don't like tamales either, but you didn't break rules and you didn't approach someone that you were supposedly fearful of. If she was so fearful bc of past history, why didn't she keep mace or just not go to unpopulated areas. Why didn't she just leash her dog like he asked. I always try to follow park rules and be respectful of shared spaces. She is not an analogous situation to yours.

I agree. She was disrespectful, she was the one who broke the rules, why is he responsible for her feelings or her history? I'm a dog owner and if someone asked me to leash my dog in an area that says leashes are required, I would just say sorry I didn't know and leash my dog. She claimed the call was to stop him, but if that was the reason, why did she get hysterical if they couldn't hear her? F her. He wasn't in the wrong, she was.

Amy's history that makes her scared and fragile isn't anyone else's responsibility. If she is that easily frightened maybe she should avoid letting her dog run in desolate scary areas where dogs aren't supposed to be running off leash. Amy now has a new fear, accountability and wants to be seen as the victim again.

@cmyskinsfan I have had some scary moments in the woods walking my dog. One was a man known in the area for having some violent episodes when he wasn't taking his meds and I definitely didn't go toward that man who I knew was mentally ill. I also knew he had been following me longer distances when the trail was empty and he was having yelling outbursts. I started moving in the opposite direction while letting him hear me FaceTime w someone and loudly saying "if anything happens to me it's this B!" and then I turned the phone toward him as I kept moving. I definitely wouldn't have approached him or addressed him bc I knew he had a recent history from the regulars who knew him and his background. I didn't want him arrested bc his mother had him arrested a month prior. There was no way I would have let my dog go or moved near him. If I'm too scared of a place, I don't go there and I don't yell at someone who I think is dangerous. She wants everyone to think she is the victim, yet again. He never threatened her and if she is so scared that she interpreted it as a threat, that is still her problem.
