Watching vids like these and ASP makes me rethink my mouth's urge to yell things. I bicycle or skate anywhere under 15 miles and often get yelled at by drivers who don't want to stop when I'm in a crosswalk w a green signal for my traffic direction. Last week I slammed into a driver's door bc he slowed but then decided to keep going for a right turn on red, even though I was already in the crosswalk. I couldn't stop in time bc I was more than halfway through the intersection. He was a young guy w a new "muscle car" . I thought he was going to yell at me or worse, for hitting the car (his light was still red) so I stayed calm. The look on his face made me believe that he never saw me, even though I saw him look in my direction before gassing the car. I had 2 front lights, flashing shoe lights, high vis vest, and flashing light on the side of my bike. Nobody was around and he could've been mad and taken it out on me. Luckily, he just said he was sorry and I told him everything seemed okay except the tread marks on his door, the door itself actually went in and popped back out when my tire bounced off of it. TLDR: think of how bad things can get if you don't keep a level head. It's not worth it.
