  6.  @Blacksheep-b6k  the judge seems to check out at times. In one instance the defense states that a picture in evidence is not dated but it has been verified. The judge looked up and says "there's no date on this". Maybe this is why CA doesn't Livestream too many trials?

  8.  @alfredindy8058  I just realized that it is out on house arrest, I guess it grazes all day to keep its weight up. Good thing it had a vehicle & sidearm, otherwise it would not have been able to do anything more than crush him (if the wannabe pig was able to walk a few feet). No regard for her own body and health, so why would she have any regard for an older AA man‽ She's going away for a long time.

  19. ​ @Ausgar-yc1yl I've seen a couple of cases where codefendants have been tried at the same time. However, there was actually a separate jury w separate alternates for each defendant, and some of the charges were different. I have no idea how that works, but it seems to save time and money.

  20.  @AnneAslaug  I can't remember if I heard that, but if she is willingly ingesting a substance that can intoxicate, especially if not legal in her state, she should have gotten at least something custodial. I didn't start feeling horrifying effects until after I smoked for a year in highschool. One day it suddenly and dramatically changed. A couple more times, confirmed I was unable to continue w it.

They were talking about the custody and what each parent may have to do/say because she is involved with Lori and is probably responsible for attempting to kill him. Because she has a tight relationship with her crazy aunt, he does not have to be a good parent, he just has to be better than her: that is when they used the 'running from a bear'analogy. She on the other hand, better overcompensate because her reputation precedes her. They are saying he COULD (not necessarily that he is definitely)be a bad parent but would have to be worse than her to lose custody. Their opinion is valid, not stupid, as stated in the OC.

  45. I had a cop follow me through the city and 3 counties to the state line before he pulled me over and ticketed me for speeding. He was friends w the manager at the bar where I worked and I had let him in for free a couple of hours earlier. He had followed me from the bar. I told the judge all of this and she looked at the cop and asked if he knew me. He actually said yes. She immediately said "dismissed" while glaring at the cop. ACAB
