He was the one who was shot at. She is the one who up and left, without warning, to follow loony Lori and marry a man while on hiatus from her kids. They stated the facts and the general opinion that most people have (including her new husband, as seen in Dateline) except when ashleigh was being sarcastic. How is that stupid?

@arshy45 I didn't think they were calling the father bad. They were talking about the custody and what each parent may have to do/say because she is involved with Lori and is probably responsible for attempting to kill him. Because she has a tight relationship with her crazy aunt, he does not have to be a good parent, he just has to be better than her: that is when they used the 'running from a bear'analogy. She on the other hand, better overcompensate because her reputation precedes her. They are saying he COULD (not necessarily that he is definitely)be a bad parent but would have to be worse than her to lose custody. Their opinion is valid, not stupid, as stated in the OC.
