@NKdidit I don't shame anyone who uses welfare as a stepping stone, when circumstances go bad, limitations etc, but those who choose it like a career are kinda shocking. I have a friend who collects any govt money/food cards she can, while she posts disparaging memes about others who are are doing the same and the way that she thinks that they vote (she is unable to vote due to criminal convictions). It made me realize that the average person doesn't feel good about collecting welfare, but some still prefer it over work or school. I think most sane people would choose work if they could.

@NKdidit lol, you sound like my friend. She says the exact same thing except more disparaging, then she checks her ebt balance to see if her benefits have been received. The people who abuse it are the problem, not the people who need temp help.✌
