  1. He had enough money to consult with a place like suicide assistance facility, Dignitas, in Sweden. They probably would have allowed her in at some point. Stroke, accident, illness could happen to any of us so it is wise to have basic living will wishes known or documented, especially DNR and quality of life choices.

  2.  @juniorjohnson5961  I agree. It is much more common for women to choose softer methods like too many meds etc. Many women who have failed an initial attempt will resort to harsher ways as a way to guarantee success. Kevorkian was great, but some of his efforts backfired by having states adopt laws that go against his goals. Dignitas is excellent, but not everyone can afford it.
