Georgia code 16-13-75 states that prescription drugs must be in the original container and is a misdemeanor subject to a year in jail /$1000 fine. I looked at 3 sites inc GA govt site. It is a 2010 law, so unless it was repealed or changed, this guy doesn't seem correct.

The judge is def acting strange, and the jury hasn't even been seated yet. But there is a Georgia law that says prescription meds must be in their original containers. This gets stranger by the day.

@ArnoldSchwarz_enigger it actually is a law in many states, inc GA. I'm confused about him saying that it isn't a law, unless I misheard him or he misspoke.

@highsports9752 I didn't see any mention of narcotic. I was quoting the law as written on the GA government site. Many drugs are not narcotics but are strictly controlled based on schedule classification. If I said narcotic, it was in error, but I don't recall writing it and don't see it in my reply l
