  2.  @Proud_Canadian_Grandma  so true, yet so many people don't realize that they should never announce that they are thinking of leaving. It seems to trigger things to an even crazier level, the abuser thinks they are losing their property and it often leadss to stalking and more dangerous behavior. If anything, the person leaving should say they want to be together forever so it is completely unexpected when they are gone with no forwarding info.
