@handleit2025 people often have family and loved ones to speak on their behalf while kids, elderly, disabled, animals etc., are often defenseless and/or voiceless. Because of the animal's circumstances, and often an inability to have had any choice in the circumstances, many people voice their feelings bc the animals are completely innocent victims who had no power to control what has occurred and no family to speak up for them.

@handleit2025 maybe one day you'll read more than an article and realize that people who can't feel compassion or empathy for sentient animals, are often the ones who have ΜεηταΙ dεfεςτs eg psychopathies or sociopathies. People voice their sadness bc animals are voiceless and/or defenseless innocent vιcτιms, w no control over their circumstances and no family or loved ones to speak on their behalf.
