@brianwilson4861 bullet damage can depend greatly on location of the wound, size, & type of bullet. I've had patients who had no idea they were shot bc it went through tissue without hitting anything significant, or it went out the other side w minimal damage. One boy told me that he had no idea he was hit until the next morning when his sheets were red and wet. He was sprinting away from the pops and only felt a pinch sensation that he assumed was muscular from jumping up & running. I'm sure shock and adrenaline contributes greatly.
