Now is the time for Australia to take the step we should've taken on 1st January, 1901, TO DECLARE THE REPUBLIC OF AUSTRALIA!!! Australia came about as a dumping ground for Britain's unwanted lower classes who were persecuted for simply trying to live in that fetid atmosphere of privilege only to the so-called "upper-classes", of which royalty was at the top. Australia should REMEMBER the circumstances of its "birth" and DESPISE aristocracy. As for Mrs Elizabeth Windsor, only here immediate family should be the ones to mourn for her.
