The land is PALESTINE! And that's ALL OF IT, INCLUDING THE PART THAT IS NOW OCCUPIED BY ISRAEL! In 1948 when the nation-state of Israel was created, it was a United Nations charter which granted a large chunk of Palestinian land to the Jewish people in spite of Palestinian protests. But it was a FIXED amount of land that could not be extended: "You shall have this much and no more!" may have been the words spoken. But this new infant country was GREEDY and set about grabbing more and more of Palestinian land for itself in defiance of the U.N. charter(I use the word "charter" for want of a better name). In the 75 years since 1948, the Israeli governments have persecuted and harassed the Palestinians relentlessly. Now, whether it was Hamass or any other organisation is irrelevant. The fact here is that the Palestinian people have HAD ENOUGH OF THE PERSECUTION AND STRUCK BACK AT THEIR OPPRESSORS! I, for one, have ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPATHY WHATSOEVER FOR ISRAEL! Simply put, THEY HAD IT COMING!
The Jewish people had been a marginalised and persecuted people for many centuries, this is historical fact. This persecution culminating in the years of Nazi Germany. But here's the rub, THE JEWISH PEOPLE HAVE NEVER LEARNED THEIR LESSON FROM THIS HISTORY! That lesson being COMPASSION AND EMPATHY FOR THE DOWNTRODDEN! The Jews claim that Israel is theirs by a promise from god. THIS IS WRONG! As I said at the start, it was the United Nations that granted the land to the Jews AGAINST THE WISHES OF PALESTINE because there was, and is NO GOD!
