In the event that a bill passes the lower house unamended, but the upper house rejects the bill as unamended, or with amendments the upper house rejects, and vice-versa. If this happens three times consecutively, the Prime Minister then has the trigger to call a General Election, dissolving both houses. The High Court in Australia DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY, OR EVEN RIGHT to overturn any laws once enacted by Parliament. The High Court's sole purpose is to make adjudications BASED ON THE LAWS AS THEY STAND! The Australian system does have its flaws, but even with these flaws, our system is FAR AND AWAY SUPERIOR to that messed-up pile of manure that is the American system.

With the debate, what needs to happen is: 1) The broadcast rights to be given to PBS(Public Broadcasting System) for screening throughout the USA. 2) The source network charged with producing and presenting the show should be the CBC(Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) with a Canadian presenter and a Canadian moderator. 3) Neither CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN nor Fox, and ESPECIALLY NOT Fox shall be allowed to carry even edited highlights.
