  1. The fact is, these people DeSantis is trying to persecute are NOT gay, they're HOMOSEXUAL, BISEXUAL, TRANS-SEXUAL! Those are the PROPER descriptive words for people of those sexual orientations. They are NOT insults, derisions or put-downs at all, they are the straight-forward honest descriptive words for people of those sexual orientations. Gay is a word that has been hijacked and perverted to mean Homo, Bi- or Trans-sexual when the word was NEVER, EVER intended to be used in that way. "Gay" is supposed to mean "cheerful, happy, elated" and its opposite is "morose" meaning "sad, dejected, miserable". As for "Lesbian", A male can be a Lesbian, the qualification is simple: to be born on, and native to the Greek island of Lesbos! And the mythology and legend of that island has ZERO validity in any argument about the island or the word, Lesbian.
