  1. What they SHOULD HAVE DONE was base their cars on the Australian Holden FE, FC and FB models of 1955 to 1959, by simply adapting them to left-hand-drive but changing NOTHING ELSE and marketing them as Holden FE, FC and FB models in the USA and Canada.

  2. America's General Motors in 1958 - Obscene Ostentation! Thankfully Britain's GM Vauxhall and Australia's GM Holden kept things modest and understated, sober and sincere to counter that obscenity which is American GM. Our Australian and British cars were built with a solid attitude of SUBSTANCE BEFORE STYLE!
