This is EXACTLY WHY America's Presidency should be NEUTRAL, neither Democrat nor Republican, and that actual executive power should be vested with a Prime Minister and Cabinet in the party of government, and opposition leader and shadow cabinet in the opposing party, like the Australian system. The President alone, being Neutral, shall have the sole duty of appointing the members of the Supreme Court and the parties of government and opposition shall have no right of appeal against the President's choice of appointees.
