  2. Rick Dees and David Seville's records, #2 and #1) respectively, were harmless novelty songs but their one saving grace was that they WERE NOT (C)rap or hip-hop. Rap(stick a 'c' ahead of the word and you sum the genre up totally as it's as far away from being a legitimate music genre as Pluto is from the sun) and hip-hop are basically mindless chants from people who don't have any talent at all to be able to sing a proper song.
