  2.  @carrychris2010  Well, there is "a higher power"! Look up and you see those wires carrying electricity at much greater voltages than the 117V ~ 60hz(America/Canada) or 240-250V ~ 50Hz(Australia/NZ/Britain) available at your power socket. LOL

  4.  @memarignacio3512  "Science" means learning by study. To study nature or technology is to learn the subject and understand how it works, and why it works the way it does. Social science, otherwise called anthropology, the study of people and ethnicity. The dispassionate study of any subject in order to better understand it. Yes, even religion studied at arm's length so as not to get bogged down by the dogma. To understand why the belief are held without actually buying into those beliefs.

  5. +Joseph Scott, You and I both know that atheism is the lack of beli3ef, as do many other atheists around the world. Tom Ben-Arye's words summed it up perfectly: "Atheism is not a belief, it is the lack of belief. Calling atheism a belief is like calling "OFF" a TV Channel". The only trouble is, try as we might, telling this basic truth to Christians is like talking to a brick wall.

  12. @Jesus is God Christian beliefs are plagiarised from much older myths and legends, each in their way just as false as christianity itself. The christian myth has been proven time and time again to be as absurd, or even more so than the view we, as clear-thinking atheists hold, which, in fact lacks any absurdity.

  13. That these people are atheists send their credibility levels through the roof. Simply put: If an atheist tells you something, BELIEVE IT! If a Christian tells you something, get a second opinion from an atheist.
