  1. If an inmate in prison is there because he/she committed murder, then he/she should be there for life, with no prospect of parole, and thus he/she should forfeit ALL societal rights, INCLUDING voting rights.

  2.  @thecoolannishatk.  YES! YES! YES! Martin Bryant was a mass murderer(Port Arthur, Tasmania, 1996). He's now serving a LIFE sentence and is totally ineligible for parole. The Lindt Cafe siege in Sydney, had he been captured alive, Mann Heron Monis would most certainly have gone to a maximum security prison for the rest of his life and stood absolutely NO chance of parole. It's a no-brainer! Mass murderers get LIFE in prison, NO PAROLE and NO VOTING RIGHTS!
