  1. If the Senate, being as it is, heavily polluted by Republicans, yes, "POLLUTED" by Republicans, then the Senate should be sidelined in an impeachment process. The Senate should, perhaps, be sidelined anyway, regardless of the ratio of Democrat-to-Republican membership. The alternate to the Senate would be the people themselves, the ordinary populace. State Governors(many with "axes to grind") would be far too biased to act as a jury in an impeachment.
