I run my YouTube channel strictly as a hobby, as would several others who submit their content. I do not seek any monetary reward for what I produce. Yes, there are those who seek to earn a living from the content they upload but I'm not in that number. Thus I get a bit frustrated when I use what I at first think is royalty-free music(or licence-free) only to have someone make a copyright claim on it, then, and very recently, I upload a video and include a sound effect in the video, only to see that sound effect cop a copyright claim. All this does is frustrate my creativity. Thus I resolve to only have the audio that is captured by my camera's microphone, or a digital voice recorder capture patched in where needed or post-edit recorded narration patched in as and where needed. For me now, the use of music or sound effects in my productions is now completely out of the question as YouTube CANNOT distinguish between copyright-protected and licence(royalty)-free music or sound effects.

Google must be FORCED BY LAW to remove ALL BANS ON AD-BLOCKERS! The computer is a PRIVATE access to information and ads are THOROUGHLY UNWELCOME! Ad-Blockers are part of a larger facility that protects user PRIVACY AND SECURITY! For Google to ban Ad-Blockers means that Google DELIBERATELY WANTS YOU, THE USER, TO BE VULNERABLE to trackers, scammers and other social media scum. As @Reflectedpower609 accurately stated, "If Google is going to ban adblockers, they should be liable for damages related to allowing scam ads to exist on their platform." I wholeheartedly agree!

Ad-Blocking technology MUST BE PROTECTED BY LAW! Google and YouTube should be fined ten times the amount of revenue they get off shoving unwanted ads in our faces.

Yeah, but you could not avoid them.
