11:25 All of these now-independent companies still carry the stigma of having been once part of Philips, and it's a stigma these companies will NEVER, EVER live down!

The first TV set in our home back in 1963 was a Philips set and not a day or week went by without it failing in one way or another. So I'm not at all surprised by this video. It is a well-deserved and fitting end to a company that produced nothing but absolute shit! Of the so-called technical advances such as the compact cassette, RCA also had a cassette cartridge that could've proven far superior. The CD and DVD were NOT developed alone by Philips, there were far superior companies to Philips involved in the development of those formats and it was the work of those other companies that made those formats work as well as they did, and it's to those other companies that 100% of the credit belongs. If it had been Philips alone, the CD and DVD would've been dismal failures! Does anyone remember the N1700 "VCR" Videocassette and player/recorder made by Philips? Cassette tape mangled after only a few plays because of a STUPID loading system of concentric reels housed initially in cassettes made of CARDBOARD! Luckily Matsushita and Sony came out with n*FAR SUPERIOR* video cassette systems, Matsushita with their VHS and Sony with U-matic and Beta which left Philips wallowing in pigshit by comparison. No, I do not lament the passing of Philips, instead I say GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH!!!!!

I use Paint to create graphic titles for my videos, firstly in BMP then take the completed title across to Paint.Net to create a PNG transparency. I really do not have much use for 3-D in that department.
