America generally doesn't respect anything that wasn't made in America. The original Morris 850, which became known as the Mini-Minor, was a thousand times superior to EVERY type of car the Yanks ever built.

@Logan Hagler I'm afraid that joke went to water! LOL

Being associated with Mr. Bean would be a stigma, a mark of infamy!

@habib6499 The Beatles didn't all drive Minis. Maybe a couple of members had one(Ringo, for certain) but in their earlier career, they drove Beetles(VWs) except for John, who didn't hold a driver's licence and would've had a chauffer.

They're.... not There.

@AdversityZone Bad spelling is NOT from dyslexia. Bad spelling comes from an EXTREMELY POOR standard of education, such as is the case in America where the education system is several levels lower than that of so-called third-world countries. And the spelling in your comment screams loud and long that your education level is on a par with an infant in his/her first year of kindergarten in the Australian system of education.

Why was it called "Hummer"? Because it forgot the words to the song! LOL

Well, now we know why Holden in Australia was killed off, because of General Motors' financial incompetence! The Holden brand should've divorced itself from GM and became an all-Australian-owned entity. Perhaps we'd still have an Australian auto industry.

For a start, NOT all the Beatles drove the Mini. And at the time when the Beatles name was associated with Volkswagen, NOT all the Beatles drove that car either. Because John Lennon never drove, he never held a driver's licence. Lennon would ride in one of the other group member's cars.
