  3. If the collusion with Russia is proved, that is indeed TREASON and wipes out the entire administration. Not even Pence could take over as President as he would be, and be seen to be part of a treasonous administration.

  4. Clinton wasn't impeached UNTIL he was well into his second term. If he'd have been impeached during his first term, he'd have been rendered ineligible to stand for the second term. Trump, if impeached now, would be barred from standing for a second term, but it's not so much the ignorant extreme-right-wing Mike Pence becoming President, as bad as that will be, that will be dangerous to America in the eyes of the rest of the world, it will be Trump's own behaviour when the process is initiated. Trump may be 71 years old but he has the temperament of a 5-year-old, prone to tantrums when he doesn't get his own way.
