  2. @Le cerveau: your post asking how do I know the writer of the third email was German did not make it past the initial notification. It didn't appear here in the comments section proper. But anyway, to answer your question, go to 3:06, the opening line of the second paragraph reads: I am a long time listener from Germany! Okay, he could've been an ex-pat from another country living in Germany but the 98% possibility favours him as German.
