  1. Take a look at Australia's method of proportional representation voting. We do NOT directly vote for the Prime Minister unless you live in the electorate which is represented by the person who holds the position of the Prime Minister, even then you're only voting for him or her to be your Member of Parliament, not to be P.M. The Australian method, with its COMPULSORY VOTE, is far and away superior to the American method, which is a convoluted mess.
