Gerald Ford "pardoned" Richard Nixon in 1974, an EXTREMELY BAD MOVE on Ford's part, as it set the precedent by which presidents thereafter could be as criminal as they liked and expect to get away with little more than a "slap on the wrist". Ford's precedent MUST be broken here. Not only should Trump NOT be pardoned, but he must be tried for his crimes and, when, not if, found guilty, the collective sentence should be for HIGH TREASON and Trump should go to Prison FOR THE TERM OF HIS LIFE!!!
