A free college or university will indeed attract a far greater number of applicants, but the wheat will be separated from the chaff soon enough as those who don't have the academic skills and aptitude start falling by the wayside. Education is the right of all, but those who don't/can't come to grips with the subjects being taught are just wasting the teacher's time, not to mention their own time by going to college or university if they're not up to the task. If based solely on his academic prowess at college, Donald Trump wouldn't have made it through the first month of his first year, most likely not even the first day!
