Yes, they do! And religious classes should be banned! If kids want religion, let them practice it in their bedrooms at home. But if critical thinking WAS taught in schools, from Primary grades, right up through High School and into college, then kids would wisely reject religion altogether.

@LucioFercho I'll accept that. Teach ABOUT religion but not TEACH religion. Not so much "burn the schools" but purge them of religious teachers so the kids' minds are not fogged over with dogma. Basically, make pastors, preachers, priests, whatever you call them, persona non grata at ALL schools!

@Lo Ki That might be so, but critical thinking doesn't really start until a child has almost reached his/her teenage years. That's why kids should be shielded from the corrupting influence of religion, from birth through to when they've graduated college or university, or at least finished high school.

Ginnungagap Biden won't be Right-Wing. He'll be more to the centre. But he will undo the damage caused by Trump. He'll sign the USA bak into the Paris Accord. He'll re-establish US support for the World Health Organisation, and he'll mend the ties with America's traditional allies, like us here in Australia, also Canada, Britain and New Zealand and the Euro countries, alienated by Trump cosying up to despicable dictators like Putin, Kim Jong Un, Rodrigo DuTurte and other despots. America has a hell of a lot of ground to make up, and Biden's going to have to "hit the ground running" in order to make up that ground.

Ginnungagap He IS a Centrist. Here in Australia, a Republican is someone who wants an Australian Head Of State instead of the foreign Queen. The word Republican here has a far different meaning to what it has in America. In America, the word has come to symbolise a political party devoid of scruples and integrity, a party that has done, and will do anything to win at all costs, and will throw the rule book out the window, The Republican Party will use voter fraud, ballot rigging, gerrymandering, voter suppression, and any other dirty trick in its bag of dirty tricks, in order to hang on to power. That's the example of a Right-wing political party. And the sad thing is, there's no independent Electoral Commission in America to prevent the Republicans from using those dirty tricks. Here in Australia, we have the Liberal Party, a wannabe Republican Party in the sense that they share the American party's putrid ideals. The Liberals here see themselves as "born to rule" and they begrudge the Australian Labor Party any time they get to run the country. However, in Australia, we have the Australian Electoral Commission, which is charged with the responsibility of running all elections at local council, State and Federal levels, as well as any by-elections that may arise for any reason. Neither party may interfere with the AEC during the process of elections from the time the writs are issued to the time of the final tally of votes. Plus our voting methods are the same across all states and territories. That's what makes our system far superior to that of America, even though we have some flaws in our method.

America's Constitution needs DRASTIC revision, beginning with strengthening the First Amendment to sure up the Wall of Separation between church and State so that religious zealots CANNOT influence government in ANY way. The Presidency should be a ceremonial figurehead status only. True governmental power should be vested in a Prime Minister and Cabinet, like in Canada, Britain, New Zealand and Australia.

@cosmosofinfinity Trump was a little child acting through an adult's body. Outwardly we saw a 74-year-old adult, but inwardly he was a 4-year-old infant chucking a temper tantrum because he couldn't get his own way. In Joe Biden America now has a TRUE Adult in the White House and the rest of the world, including us in Australia, can breathe a little easier.

I disagree. Trump's 2016 win was a fluke. It wasn't so much a win for Trump, it was more a loss for the Democrats because they went with Hilary Clinton. If they'd gone with Bernie Sanders in 2016, they'd have pushed Trump aside and he'd have been swept into the gutter, where he belongs. Trump is, was and always will be a shit-stain on America's pants. Now that Biden is President(Elect), it's the beginning of America's road back to respectability, but America will NEVER be great, ever again.
