WHAT AMERICA NEEDS:- 1) COMPULSORY VOTING for those aged 18 or older.  2) A STANDARDISED METHOD OF VOTING across ALL 50 states, not the hotch-potch of methods you have now.  3) A PRESIDENT WHO IS A CEREMONIAL HEAD OF STATE ONLY! Real executive governmental power should be vested in a Prime Minister, as per Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Britain.  4) REGISTRATION TO VOTE NOT TO BE PARTISAN BUT TO BE NEUTRAL, when registering, you're simply registering to exercise your duty as a citizen, not to vote for either of the parties.    America should take a good, long look at how Australia and New Zealand run their elections and adapt the method for US federal and state elections
