  1. There should be NO party affiliation component. Automatic voter registration is almost an improvement but still not enough as you need to go to the next step, COMPULSORY VOTING because voting isn't so much a right as it is more a duty to your country. Also, electoral boundaries and the conduction of elections, from Federal down to State and local council level must be conducted by a statutory authority completely at several arms' length from either party so that neither party can influence the process. As the Repugnant Party will vote against this HR1 bill, it should require only the Democrat vote with Kamala Harris giving the tie-break vote as Vice-President. If America had compulsory voting, Trump could never have won in 2016 and those putrid candidates, Hawley, Taylor-Greene, Cawthorne and Loefler would've never won their seats either. The only reason they did win is because of the extreme right-wing voters which did cast votes for them. ("which" rather than "who" because extreme right-wingers are not human). Compulsory voting would've seen the votes for those repugnant candiates drowned out by votes for decent candidates.
