  1. This is exactly why voting should be COMPULSORY in America. Voting isn't so much a right as it is a citizen's DUTY to his/her nation. Here in Australia, voting at local council, state or federal government elections IS compulsory! And that's what sets us ABOVE Britain or America, or even Canada in this regard. And I believe New Zealand also has compulsory voting. If so, good on you NZ!
