  1. The non legally binding referendum for or against advising Parliament to vote upon the issue was respected and the perceived obligation fulfilled. So now Parliament representing the interests of the entire population can do something else in the interests of the entire population and not just the 17.4 million minority of the population in our representative democracy in OUR Parliament... when the criminal brexiters aren't trying to shut down democracy of course.
