  1. My prediction? I think the Turkish economy will collapse and Erdogan removed from the scene. I doubt he will last till the next election. If he does, he will likely be re-elected -- he has undermined all democratic institutions, but will be removed when the suffering of the normal people has become too large. The cost to the Turkish people will be terrible, as the damage he has done will take decades to repair. People should learn not to vote for populist idiots who think slogans are more important than actually knowing how to run a country.
