  2. Another difference between the Soviet Union and modern Russia, is that Russia is now a full-fledged Kleptocracy. Its leaders do not care at all about the citizens. The money that Russia makes now simply disappears. Of course the USSR was corrupt as well, but nowhere near as corrupt as Russia.

  3. Many details I didn't know about, but you forgot to mention that Transnistria is actually occupied by a Russian military force. Those people are NOT free, and their leaders are Russian puppets.

  4. ​ @Stanislav-i5s  So what? That does NOT give Russia the right to land 3000 soldiers on the soil of a sovereign nation, or imposing corrupt leaders over them. You might be interested to know there are plenty of ethnic Turks, Chinese and Mongolians living in the Russian Federation. But that does not give those countries the right to invade Russia.

  6. The problem with western military industrial capacity is that it is no use to invest billions into new plants that will need to be closed down again when Russia is kicked out of Ukraine. All industry needs is contracts that assure the current level of demand will persist for decades.
