  2. "The meaning of a word depends on its context" That is exactly my criticism with PC. If PC can cause us to ban a specific word because it is "bad", there will just come another word that will replace it. Because the offense in the word is not the word itself, but the meaning given to it by those who hear it. And if those who hear it are quick to be offended by what other people say, changing the word will not change the offense. Similarly, if I want to give offense, the word I use will be offensive regardless of the word. I could say boy, or man, and be just as offensive as with any other word, because the offense is in the heart.
