  1. This is an excellent treatise on why a Command Economy is inferior to a free, non-corrupt market. It is also a great background to the demise of the USSR. I find it extremely disturbing that some people still think the USSR was something to aspire to.

  2. Differential Equations are the best thing since sliced bread -- although they are in fact quite a bit older. Most modern technology is built on them. It is not normal to fear them.
