The lecture is absolutely great. When answering the questions, I think it false to raise hope that the UK government will use its freedom to make the country more productive and/or more equal. Quite the opposite is happening, and it is likely that will continue.

@Charles White "fastest economic growth" You shouldn't believe everything your government keeps repeating. Usually, the more often they repeat it, the falser it is. Especially if the PM says it during PMQs. There was a very brief period in which the UK economy grew quicker than the rest, but that was to correct a much greater drop of the economy early in the pandemic. Ever since 2016, the UK economy has been lagging behind the rest of the EU, as was to be expected from slumping exports, reduced workforce, reduced direct foreign investments and greater inefficiencies.
