And furthering our understanding of these interactions of nuclei will almost certainly aid in the development of real fusion power. Which is definitely worth the investment.

  2. We are in the phase where a lot of less-than-honest people want to take advantage of the money that other people want to throw at this. Lots of money will be lost, but hopefully this will not give Fusion a bad name...

  3. The biggest challenge in computing is not processing power, but how to manage complexity. I see quantum computers only adding complexity, not reducing it. Thus not a viable solution for the vast majority of computing problems.
