  1. "Why do the English hate the Dutch" Because we kicked their @sses in three wars, then invaded the country and took over the crown. Sadly, that new Dutch king instituted reforms that caused England to grow stronger than the Netherlands... Otherwise, the language of international trade would now have been Dutch.
