  1. I think TLoB is a brilliant movie. I am also a committed Christian. TLoB takes on hypocrites, which today is just as necessary has 40 years ago.

  2.  @stephanweinberger  Jesus does not approve of everything that happened in the OT. In fact, the reason He came to earth is to set things right. If he approved of everything that happened in the OT, there would have been no NT.

  3. And then, the English Bible we all read has already been "sanitized". The original is much more explicit. One funny example is where the original phrase "Anyone that pisses against a wall" is translated as "one male" in 1 Samuel 25:22.
